市区町村の犯罪件数は都道府県警等が公開する市区町村別刑法犯認知件数を用い、利用可能な直近年を都道府県ごとに採用しています。現行データは2025年1,150件、2024年530件、2023年61件であり、同一年の全国比較ではありません。人口の分母は原則2020年のe-Stat住民人口です。双葉町（075469）は2020年国勢調査人口が0のため、福島県の2025年1月1日住民基本台帳人口5,294人を使用し、人口の年と出典を表示します。比較・共有では、刑法犯認知件数を住民人口で割って10万倍した「住民人口10万人あたりの件数」を表示します。

地図の安全スコアは別の補正済み・平滑化済み指標です。住民人口と2020年国勢調査の昼間人口推定値の平均を曝露人口にし、都道府県内の事前分布への平滑化と対数パーセンタイル変換を行います。双葉町の代替人口では昼夜間人口補正を適用せず、住民人口基準の値を平滑化します。住民率、地図スコア、地震の参考値は同じ意味でも相互保証でもありません。

東京都の町丁参考レイヤーは警視庁令和6年（2024年）町丁別認知件数とGeoshape/e-Stat 2020境界を照合します。一意に照合できない区域は0件にせず欠測とします。地震の参考値はJ-SHISサンプルの30年以内震度6弱以上確率の最大値を表示します。全1,747市区町村に1〜3サンプル（計5,204）があり、15サンプルには注意情報があります。これは警報、洪水、津波または住所単位の安全保証ではありません。

Municipality crime counts come from the most recent municipality-level Penal Code offense data available from each prefectural police source. The current file mixes 1,150 records from 2025, 530 from 2024, and 61 from 2023; it is not a same-year national comparison. Comparisons and shares show recorded offenses per 100,000 residents, generally using a 2020 e-Stat resident-population denominator. Futaba Town (075469) has a zero 2020 Census population, so it uses Fukushima Prefecture’s resident-register population of 5,294 as of January 1, 2025, with its population year and source shown.

The map score is a separate corrected and smoothed indicator: it uses the average of resident population and estimated 2020 Census daytime population, prefectural-prior smoothing, and logarithmic percentile scaling. Futaba’s alternative population is used without a day/night adjustment; its resident-population rate is smoothed. A resident rate, map score, and earthquake reference value are not interchangeable and do not guarantee one another.

Tokyo’s small-area layer joins 2024 Metropolitan Police town data to 2020 Geoshape/e-Stat boundaries; non-unique joins are missing, never zero. The earthquake reference is the maximum sampled J-SHIS 30-year probability of intensity 6-lower or above. It is not an alert, flood/tsunami product, or address-level guarantee.
